Constanter is one of Europe’s largest independent philanthropic organizations, established to promote respect for human dignity, sustainability and social justice. Founded and fully supported by the Brenninkmeijer family-business owners, it serves as an umbrella organization for the Porticus and Laudes foundations, among others.
The Constanter Investment Office manages the foundation’s endowment, with the goal of supporting philanthropic giving in perpetuity. We invest across public, private and real assets using a Total Portfolio approach that seeks to produce superior risk-adjusted returns. We invest with a long term orientation building on strong partnerships.

In this role you report to Chief of Staff in the IO and a dotted line to the Director of Finance in Constanter Philanthropy Services (CPS).
**Business management support for a team of investment professionals inc**:
- Communications design: using PowerPoint skills (and Canva or Tableau) to support team in putting together presentation materials, investment reports and internal communications
- Information management: assisting the team in compiling reports for the quarterly Investment Committee and other relevant committees
- Process controls: using Excel, Visio and Notion skills to ensure processes and controls are correctly documented and following up with relevant stakeholders
- Transaction implementation: managing document execution, following up with counterparties, assisting with compliance controls and documentation (e.g. KYC/AML)
**Implementation and oversight of administrative processes and controls**:
- Minuting internal governance meetings (including investment and risk matters) including circulating agenda and supporting documents
- Regulatory filings: support the regular filing of regulatory documents and similar ongoing obligations including managing governance calendars
- Document filing: ensuring transaction documents are correctly executed and have been saved correctly in folders
**KEY COMPETENCIES**
- ** Communication**:Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English (German is a plus). Proficiency in preparing reports, presentations and correspondence.
- ** Organizational Skills**:Outstanding organizational and time management skills with the capability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks seamlessly and the ability to work autonomously
- ** Strategic Thinking**:Ability to anticipate executive needs and act proactively. Skilled in planning and execution.
- ** Discretion and Confidentiality**:Must maintain the highest level of confidentiality and discretion at all times.

- ** Quality focus**:Ability to meet deadlines, handle conflicting priorities and work under pressure. Meticulous attention to detail
**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, or extensive experience in a role requiring similar skills and tasks.
- Experience of working in, or knowledge of, investment organisations and/or financial institutions, professional services firms (legal, consulting, advisory) an advantage.
- Previous experience in governance support in the execution of company secretary duties (e.g. preparing agenda, drafting meeting minutes, tracking deliverables)
