HITACHI ENERGY LTD, a renowned specialist in power transmission and distribution, is seeking a highly skilled Senior GIS Sales Manager to lead our Swiss market efforts.

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced sales professional with a strong background in technical sales, project management, product management, key account management, or similar areas of expertise. As a Senior GIS Sales Manager, you will be responsible for assuming responsibility for tender management of the GIS product line, devising complete offers for the Swiss market, and acting as the central contact person for all GIS sales-related questions.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Assume responsibility for tender management of the GIS product line and devise complete offers for the Swiss market.
  • Act as the central contact person for all GIS sales-related questions, consult and advise customers on technical and commercial project matters.
  • Functionally lead global sales operations team members and other relevant functions on a project basis to ensure full consistency of offers (technical and commercial).
  • Perform risk reviews and set up cost calculations.
  • Lead technical and commercial negotiations on behalf of the GIS factory and the local Swiss sales unit.
  • Support Swiss Sales Representatives and Account Managers in developing and maintaining sustainable business relationships with Swiss customers to achieve agreed budget and growth targets.
  • Prepare production forecasts and provide support in preparing sales key figures (budget) in collaboration with local Market Management.
  • Deliver customer workshops, sales trainings, and participate in trade fairs.

Your Background

  • A minimum of 5-10 years of professional experience in technical sales, project management, product management, key account management, or similar areas of expertise.
  • A degree (Bachelor/Master) in a technical/engineering discipline.
  • Sales personality with confident appearance on all customer levels, proven experience in the energy industry or manufacturing.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, assertiveness, and ability to convince.
  • Understanding of customers and sales channels.
  • Outstanding leadership and communication skills.
  • Eager to develop yourself, support your peers, and our customers.
  • Fluency in German language (minimum C2) is mandatory, as well as fluent English. Good knowledge of French is an advantage.
  • Ongoing travel for business trips may be required.

Salary

The estimated annual salary for this position is approximately CHF 120,000 - CHF 180,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
