Dynamic Sales Leader for Intermediary Clients in Switzerland

Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly experienced and well-connected sales professional to lead our intermediary business in Switzerland. As a Senior Relationship Manager, you will be responsible for further developing our existing book of business and acquiring new assets. Your primary focus will be on generating new revenue streams and expanding our market share in the Swiss intermediary market.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record in sales and client relationship management, with a strong network of contacts in the banking and financial services industry. Excellent communication and negotiation skills are essential for this role, as you will be working closely with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders to achieve business objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute a sales strategy for the Swiss intermediary market, aligned with Vontobel's overall business goals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, including banks, external asset managers, and family offices.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, leveraging your extensive network and industry knowledge.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including portfolio managers, product management, and marketing, to deliver best-in-class client service and drive business growth.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in sales or client-facing roles in the financial industry.
- Strong technical knowledge of investment markets and products, particularly investment funds.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and building strong client relationships.
- Fluent German (or Swiss German) language skills, with excellent English language proficiency.
