Job Title: Switzerland Sales Director

We are seeking an experienced Sales Director to lead our sales efforts in Switzerland.

About the Role:
  • Steer the operational sales process in the geographical area, ensuring alignment with global strategy and local market conditions.
  • Oversee safety, security, and quality of warehouse and aircraft handling activities, including negotiations with service providers and partner airlines.
  • Represent Lufthansa Cargo AG's interests in the region, fostering partnerships with local authorities, industry associations, and media outlets.
  • Develop and implement sales and handling plans tailored to the local market, ensuring connectivity with the global LH Cargo system.
  • Lead a team of LH Cargo staff in Switzerland as a disciplinary superior, driving efficiency and effectiveness in organization and processes.
  • Manage country/district financial tasks, adhering to budgetary constraints.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree required; business/economics or engineering university degree desirable.
  • Minimum 5-8 years of relevant work experience in logistics or airline industry.
  • Good knowledge of LH Cargo's processes and organization, or comparable international structures.
  • Excellent English language skills required; German language skills desirable.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Change management, communication, customer orientation, teamwork, and assessment screening skills essential.
  • Valid driver's license required; willingness to travel frequently.
Work Environment:

A dynamic airport environment with constant time pressure and high stress levels.

Estimated Salary: CHF 120,000 - 180,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
