Business Development Manager

STERIS is a leading provider of innovative healthcare and life science solutions. As a Business Development Manager for our Life Sciences division, you will play a critical role in driving sales growth and expanding our presence in the Swiss and Austrian markets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sell STERIS cleaning, disinfectant, and sterility assurance products to pharmaceutical and biotech manufacturers, consulting with customers to understand their needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities, developing strong relationships with existing customers and building a pipeline of potential new business.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including customer service, marketing, and technical service, to deliver exceptional customer experiences and drive business results.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a science-related field, engineering, or business
- Demonstrated history of successful sales performance in regulated industries (cGMP, GLP, etc.)
- Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics, with experience using CRM software
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be self-motivated, and have a proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales goals. They should also be proficient in Microsoft Office applications and have a valid driver's license. Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience. Travel up to 60% required.
