As Global Industry Segment Manager in the Motion Large Motors and Generators division (MOLM), you will drive sales and marketing activities for the focus industries. You will have a clear understanding of the industry trends including transition to greener energy, being accountable for developing business plans on industry drivers and educating the sales teams on domain expertise in Large Motors and Generators. Reporting to the Global Sales Manager, you will collaborate with the local sales organizations, factories, and Motion Industry Segment Manager (ISM) organization to meet ambitious targets and exceed customer expectations.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Create segment strategy and execute business plans working with Local Sales Units (LSUs), Global Account Managers (GAMs)/Strategic Account Managers (SAMs) and International OEM managers.
- Accountability for global sales budget for assigned industry
- Provide tools and competences to LSUs for the focus industries
- Lead strategic industry direction through influencing actions from End Users (EUs) to EPCs and OEMs
- Influence EPCs promotion and specification
- Collaborate with product marketing and communication for delivering industry value propositions
- Collaborate with Motion ISM organization
- Market analysis on Sub-segments

**Your background**:

- Several years of experience in industrial sales or project management, working as Sales Manager or Technical Support Engineer with electric motors
- A clear grasp of contract negotiations, risk management, and commercial and legal terms
- Proven communication and negotiating skills, a customer-focused mindset and a professional, “can-do” attitude
- Knowledge of Chemical, Oil & Gas and Hydrogen industries is seen as an advantage
- Taking responsibility while working systematically and independently
- University level education in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English is mandatory
- Solid presentation skills
