ABB Energy Industries (EN) drives growth for our customers while supporting safe, efficient and profitable operations with strong global execution capacity, an extensive service footprint and capabilities, and innovative digital leadership. The Digital Operations Leader is accountable for developing and driving execution of the overall Digital strategy including creating and sustaining processes, procedures and programs that enable global and regional teams to be able to reach annual targets and achieve business goals. As ABB EN continues its journey to be a digital product leader in energy, we’ve built a new market-relevant solution portfolio aligned to our key areas for growth. Many of these portfolio areas reflect new offerings and more importantly involve new customers, technologies and service models. The Digital Operations Leader provides the processes and systems to allow these portfolio areas to measure growth, productivity, profitability, and overall success. As the Digital Operations Leader, you are the leader responsible for leading operations of the global Digital team in a way that enables success of the overall Digital business strategy and targets. This role can be based remotely.

**This position reports to**:
Global Division Digital Head, PAEN

**Your responsibilities**:

- Planning and overseeing strategic, operational, and administrative programs, projects, and/or services of broad significance to the Digital organization.
- Establishing and implementing short
- and long-range organizational goals, objectives, strategic plans, policies, and operating procedures
- Providing strategic advice and recommendations to leadership in the development, implementation, and evaluation of new or modified operating policies, practices, and procedures within the specified functional area of focus.
- Designing, coordinating, and implementing training programs for personnel within the Digital organization and its components on operating policies and procedures.
- Managing various technical, professional, and/or administrative personnel engaged in specified project activities, as appropriate to the position.
- Improving operational management systems, processes and best practices including regular reporting
- Documenting and publishing financial data and use this to track progress and improve profitability.
- Managing team budget and publishing product orders forecasts
- Developing onboarding program for Digital team members.
- Working with the product team to manage product analytics and digital adoption capabilities across the product portfolio including implementation, administration, analytics, and product team training.

**Your background**:

- Experience in energy-related industries, with knowledge of software-related business models for energy industry segments is a must.
- Familiarity with industrial digital technologies and services with the ability to integrate different offerings and technologies.
- Sound knowledge of internal or external consulting engagements.
- A collaborative, solution-focused approach, with strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or other technically relevant field and/or Master of Business Administration degree or equivalent product management advanced degree preferred.
- 10% of travel expected. United State Visa or Passport holders are preferred.
