**Global Operations Manager, Business Line Hoist Process Industries**:

We are looking for a Global Operations Manager for Business Line Hoist in Process Industries. In this role you are a key success factor for the global management of all project execution activities within the global business line. You coordinate and oversee team development as well as standardization and development of tools and processes, with the target to continually improve effectiveness of project execution teams. You report directly to the Global Business Line Manager Hoist.

Business Manager - E2E

**Your responsibilities**:

- Define and lead implementation of continuous improvements for the project execution strategy for global project operations in alignment with Division strategies. Lead and oversee the project execution teams globally, ensuring that ABB Policies are consistently followed. Develop, customize, and continuously improve standard processes and work instructions by adopting ABB and external best practices.
- Participate in Sales and Operations Planning and take actions to close potential gaps in project execution capability and capacity. Supervise project execution and performance according to the applicable project review instruction to ensure contract fulfilment. Take an active role in resolving escalated project issues, especially those raised by customers. Serve as an escalation point for individual and systemic project management issues within the project execution team.
- Drive, validate, and support that appropriate HSE measures are taken and implemented in the respective project operations functions and all project activities.
- Oversee competency assessments and ensure that the project staff are licensed and certified appropriately.
- Drive efficiency and effectiveness and improve cash flow, revenue, and profitability.
- Develop project execution capacity and capability in line with ABB policies, directives, instructions, and guidelines.
- Monitor the project portfolio to ensure early identification of deteriorating execution performance.
- Prevent further deterioration by providing timely support to the local organization in the recovery of projects through guidance, coaching and where necessary, direct support to troubled projects.

**Your background**:

- University degree and 5 years+ of relevant experience in the Industrial Automation industry
- Proven leadership track record of leading project operations organizations.
- Understanding of relevant markets, customers, technology and competition.
- As a person, you are a good communicator, people developer and good at collaboration
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English.
