**Global Business Line Continuous improvement Manager**:**

In this role you will be responsible to establish and maintain a continuous improvement (CI) culture in the Global Business Line focusing on customer & quality by deploying a set of CI competencies, utilizing Lean Six Sigma (L6S) as the CI methodology, and creating transparency to monitor progress, within the area of responsibility; Mastering multiple Black Belt Projects. Reporting to the Global Business Line Operations Manager, you will develop a common and consistent approach to continuous improvement and strategy. Customize strategy and help to spread best practices of the Global Business Line, managing all aspects in line with guidance from ABB Group/division/business area.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Partnering with business leaders to grasp goals and improvement needs in order to define a course of action
- Working with business leaders to identify and access the best resources with which to work
- Serving as a resource for customers’ continuous improvement efforts, and stay there until they can sustain the work themselves
- Providing visibility over the current portfolio of continuous improvement efforts and tracking KPIs and value from these efforts to help allocate resources and recognize success
- Driving cultural transformation with a hands-on (“gemba”) approach
- Promoting behavioral change to continuously improve function performance through programs and initiatives
- Ensuring that your area of responsibility is organized, staffed, skilled and directed, and developing the skills to create a highly effective and efficient team

**Your background**:

- More than 5 years of experience in Continuous Improvement role
- A University Degree in Engineering, Business or other relevant field required
- Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma (L6S) as the CI methodology; Mastering multiple Black Belt Projects.
- Operational experience in continuous improvement functions within a producing unit, preferably in the same or similar industry.
- Experience with small/medium volume high variety production as well as engineered to order production
- Relevant experience with assessing organizational maturity of complex manufacturing networks
- A collaborative, solution-focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skills
- Relevant experience with software-based products
- Experience within a multi factory / cross country organization, preferably in a global organization
- Good communication skills in English
