Our position as Global Marketing Manager is part of the Global Marketing Team in Industries Business Line and operates cross Industry segments and will partner closely with Sales & Portfolio teams, Industries Communications team, central M&S marketing team, product communications team, global product management, global as well as local marketing & sales teams. Reporting to Global Head of Marketing and Sales Industries BL, you will be responsible for a global Marketing strategy and working closely with the product communications team and the demand generation team to develop marketing plans and campaigns around our offering and help promote both the current product portfolio and launch new innovations.
**Your responsibilities**:
- Responsible for creating, planning and managing execution of the global marketing strategy for Industries in accordance with the Industries Business Line strategy. Define global marketing targets together with sales management, track & follow up to ensure they are achieved.
- Define campaign themes/core topics with support of portfolio managers and product managers consistent with poorly chosen market segmentation and targeting discussed with sales management.
- Prioritize needs and lead creation* of sales related marketing material (e.g. presentations, videos (In-put from MKT, execution by COMS), social media posts, testimonials) to support e.g. value propositions and messaging that supports ABB as “best choice” in Industries segments.
- Collaborate with Communications on the related content creation.
- Prioritize, plan and prepare GI BL global campaigns, and support local and regional implementation. Secure effective marketing/campaign lead generation process w/ Sales, focus on leads follow-up and usage of the tool with support of M&S central team.
- Support Local BL teams on their local marketing plan. Plan and lead marketing related areas in BL events and/or BL contribution to global Robotics Business Area events, e.g. messaging, demos and customer activities. Events include hybrid and virtual events.
- Represent and drive GI BL marketing related areas on ABB website and ABB Partner Portal. Lead and secure Sales readiness and messaging in GI BL product launches
- Ensure the markets globally are well monitored and followed up by developing and maintaining efficient marketing tools. Lead, coach, motivate and develop Local BL Marketing colleagues. Drive and ensure knowledge sharing and cross-collaboration.
**Your background**:
- Successful degree in business, marketing or any similar discipline
- 7+ years professional experience in Marketing, Business development or Sales
- Excellent project management, organization, and planning skills with attention to accuracy and detail
- Proven outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrate a strong customer orientation and a strong collaborative spirit
- High degree of self-motivation and ability to work independently in a fast-changing industry
- Open to change and adapting to new environments
- English fluency is mandatory
