**Marketing Communication Manager, Hydrogen (flexible location)**:

You will be part of the newly formed Hydrogen Product Group, that drives our effort in accelerating the green hydrogen economy and enabling a low carbon society. In this position, you will develop and deploy innovative and effective marketing and communications strategy for our Hydrogen Product Group. You will define and manage the marketing action plan to achieve both the key qualitative and quantitative targets in according to budget, and to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. Your responsibilities would also include driving conversations and discussions and ensure alignment with Division/Business Area/cross Business Area marketing and communications community. You will report to the Global Product Group Manager. The location of this role is open to all ABB Offices and reallocation is not needed.

**This position reports to**:
Business Development Manager - Hydrogen

**Your responsibilities**:

- Responsible for creating, planning and implementing the marketing and communications strategies for PG Hydrogen
- Coordinate product and segment marketing development plans and ensure efficient and effective execution together with sales and product managers. Facilitate global roll-out.
- Proactively anticipate changes in market direction and facilitate appropriate remedial action connecting strategies to penetrate the market.
- Identify partnership opportunities and participate in the definition of partnerships agreements together with business management.
- Plan and implement promotional activities using events, fairs, online, communication campaigns and print media, and other communications vehicles to promote offerings.
- Stimulate lead generation through advertising, sponsorship, industry alliances and other promotional activities.
- Ensure sound communication across multiple and appropriate trade media and consistently maintain the positive image of ABB, brand and value proposition in the mind of the customer.
- Participate in and coordinate with Division marketing and communication community ensuring alignment and sharing know-how, processes and market info.
- Define quality metrics for marketing activities. Review and evaluate results upon completion.

**Your background**:

- University degree in Engineering or Business Administration
- Minimum 10 years industry experience, minimum 2 years in both in Marketing and in Communications
- Experience working in hydrogen production segment / Familiar with hydrogen production concept and the ecosystem around it
- Demonstrated experience in development and implementation of marketing and sales strategy
- A collaborative, solution-focused approach, with strong written and spoken communication skills, as well as relationship-building skills
- Ability to work in a multinational environment and in a matrix organization
- An entrepreneurial mindset and a professional, “hands-on” workstyle
- Ability to navigate in a dynamically changing environment, flexible with creative thinking.
- Prior experience in a start-up/scale-up environment is a plus.
- Fluent English language skills
