**Global Proposals Manager**:

In this role you will be responsible to adapt and implement Global Proposals Strategy in accordance with the global Blending Business Line strategy. Ensure technical and commercial support for internal and external customers. Oversee estimations, bids, and proposals ensuring alignment with ABB standards and targets. Leads, develops, and coaches the Sales Support team globally.
**Your responsibilities**:
- Creates, implements and reviews customer sales support strategy for the different opportunities.
- Creates Global Proposals Standards and follow-up on its’ implementation for the different regions.
- Creates training programs for the sales support team globally and follow up on its’ implementation.
- Defines key targets and ensures their achievement by overseeing progress and defining improvement actions for customer support and satisfaction.
- Oversees the support provided and proposal preparation by assigning and allocating internal and external resources for technical and commercial support and proposal preparation.
- Ensures the most competitive offers considering the market situation and customer conditions.
- Identifies the most effective approach (e.g., direct sales, consortium, or channel) for better serving the customer.
- Oversees the validation of terms and conditions (commercial, technical, legal, and pricing) in each offer.
- Supports bid/no bid analyses and decisions.
- Participates in project risk review processes.
- Ensures the required technical support and clarifications are provided to the Sales organizations during technical meetings, product presentations, and negotiations with customers.
- Focuses on achievement of inventory turn on finished goods, requested on-time delivery, and Net Promoter Score (NPS).
- Processes orders to ensure accurate and timely delivery of products and acts as the first point of contact for customer queries related to orders.
- Builds long-term and sustainable customer relationships by prioritizing their work as per defined criteria to ensure consistent customer satisfaction.
- Develops, implements, and maintains effective customer support processes by participating in development projects (e.g., tools, competencies, resources).
- Purchases products as per the sales plan and forecast and ensures the appropriate stock levels of finished goods.
- Develops and manages logistics operations to effectively control inbound and outbound shipping of products to customers.
- Handles import and export matters, including documentation, compliance, and logistics coordination.
- Manages the warehouse, ensuring efficient operations and optimal inventory control.
- Manages small scale final product assembly within the country as per business unit request.
- Ensures order quality, volume, and on-time delivery based on business unit standards and customer requests.
- Shares functional best practices and lessons learned across the organization.ws local sales support strategy.
**Your background**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
- Minimum 10 years of experience ideally with ABB System Engineering, or Proposal Engineering experience.
- Experience in processes and proposals in Lubricants, Grease, Paint and Coating segments.
- Effective communication with sales, sales management, product managers, business drivers, and customers to prepare the proper proposal to a specific customer request.
- Knowledge of ABB and Third-Party Blending Systems
- Able to interpret customer requests with various level of detail to formulate an ABB solution and path forward.
- Is able to set priorities and solicit support as required to meet deadlines.
- Some travel may be necessary as needed.
