**Global Product Manager - Pressure**:**

In this role you will be supporting business results by overseeing all steps in the product life cycle including development, launch, maintenance, pricing, and profitability. Supporting the Local Sales Units by defining global marketing strategies specifically aimed at developing into markets, segments, or other strategic areas not currently defined. Promoting and driving the implementation of the Pressure Product Line strategy, analysis and identification of the relevant focus market segments, opportunities and/or solutions across the industries. Reporting to the Global Product Line Manager, you will lead the global product portfolio, through all life-cycle phases, to deliver our growth plan according to market needs and Product Line strategy and targets.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Market situation analysis: Leads market intelligence analysis. Understands and defines current market segmentation and related product positioning. Identifies potential gaps in portfolio, both against competition and new market opportunity. Support collection of the data market research studies (ARC)
- Existing products: Owns the technical and market specification for the product and determines a product business plan that supports sustainable growth. Leads life cycle management process, analyses current product, oversees performance and proposes appropriate measures (e.g. enhancements, ECNs, cost reductions, phase-outs) to increase the product competitiveness. Proposes decisions on product obsolescence and end-of life to ensure current and future market requirements are met and maximize product profitability. Monitors the quality performance and proposes actions to ensure the customer service and satisfaction.
- Internal/external interface: Analyses and tracks globally market, technology, competitor and customer requirements and trends related to the product and determines competitive attributes, prioritization and value proposition. Identifies needs, opportunities and risks and positioning against competition.
- New product development: Defines new product plans, sets technical, price and cost targets. Contributes to development of new portfolios by leading customer need and value analysis, planning the roadmap to create maximum value. Prioritizes new product development projects with responsibility for achievement of targets (product characteristics, time, costs, pay-back) and coordinating cross-functional teams.
- Product market communications: Initiates and drives product market communication strategy, including product launch planning and implementation. Manages different channel to market scenarios in coordination with channel partners managers and Marketing & Sales to ensure best market coverage. Support sales with trainings, and customer events. Participate in the industry events and exhibitions.
- Product values: Defines product customer value proposition per segment and channel and ensures clear communication to channels and users, to deliver clear product positioning within the portfolio with defined values per product.
- Offering to market & pricing management: Responsible for product profitability and margin. In preparation for new product launch, and otherwise as required, defines pricing strategies. Ensures correct pricing is applied for all countries, products within relevant business area. Develops and maintains a global reference price list of the products to assure the correct positioning strategy against the competitor offerings and ensures this is developed and deployed to reflect the needs of individual markets.
- Process development and training: Supports the IBP Product review phase, coordinates the product managers forum. Supports the creation of external and internal product training modules and programs including e-learning.
- Innovation: Initiates and drives, when needed, cross functional and cross-organization product and solution innovation teams, monitors development of all standards and market trends and provides inputs to Research & Development (R&D) for patent screening process and intellectual property rights protection.
- People leadership and development: Ensures (with HR Manager support) that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled and directed. Guides, motivates and develops direct and indirect subordinates within HR policies.
