As a Global Product Manager, you will work within a full Product Life Cycle perspective, and you will be responsible for long term profitable growth of your product given market needs and overall Energy Industries business strategy. In this role you will balance technical and customer-centric requirements as well as integrate efforts with Hub commercial and technical teams, Operations Management, R&D, and Sales to develop and deliver profitable global solutions.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Your primary role in product management is to manage the overall risk of building and selling products while growing the overall product business. You will manage this risk by building and executing an overall product strategy for the Energy Industries Asset Performance Management product portfolio.
- You will own the product roadmap and define features, functions, and products that will help grow the overall business while working closely with R&D to implement these product recommendations. This includes overall lifecycle management of the products.
- You will own “voice of customer” and use this to define customer needs and journeys that will influence the product roadmap and help build segmentation-based targeting.
- You will develop and own value propositions and pricing for your customer segments based on market feedback and customer alternatives.
- You will own go-to-market messaging including internal messaging documents, segment-specific offering content, sales/customer-driven demos, and thought leadership articles and presentations.
- You will support the creation of product training for the global sales organizations that enables value-based selling while providing technical and commercial assistance to the sales team during a project lifecycle.
- You will report on ongoing business success through regular updates of sales, revenue, and profitability relative to targets and enabling the use of the ABB CRM (e.g. Salesforce) to automate reporting.
- You will manage and track product introduction success including paid customer pilots to a customer or country that enables offering to scale to an enterprise or region, respectively.

**Your background**:

- Experience in product management or related disciplines, with applied knowledge of software-related business models for energy industry segments.
- 3 years’ in Product Management experience in Enterprise Class Software.
- Previous experience in Monitoring, Asset Performance Management domains, agent-based data collection, cloud monitoring solutions on any of the big cloud providers such as AWS CloudWatch, Azure metrics or Google Cloud metrics.
- Knowledge of User experience (UX), design thinking and/or commercial understanding.
- Ability to translate the service concepts into clear value proposition.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or/and Master of Business Administration degree/ equivalent product management degree preferred.
