**Regional HVAC Segment Manager (flexible location)**:

In this role you will act as experienced industry influencer who works to grow ABB’s market share regionally in Europe by proactively influencing country sales units. Focusing on selecting and serving direct and or dedicated tier-1 Channel Partners and Commercial OEM customers, as well as direct customers and other channels to market, in support of ABB’s HVAC Drives product portfolio and market separation strategy. You will report to the Drive Products Division Regional Sales Manager. The role is open globally, but the location is set in ABB Offices in Europe.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Demonstrate significant region-specific domain expertise regarding HVACR go to market trends and standards.
- Establish self as “the champion” regarding global sales strategies and available sales collateral and deliverables.
- Work with LSU’s to quantify and validate served and available market and associated trends.
- Build relationships with country leadership resulting in a mutually agreeable investment in HVAC specific activities and resources.
- Demonstrate an unwavering spirit of ethical and company policy compliance.
- Build an environment led by embracing the needs of the customer.
- Work with HVAC Channel and Strategy Manager to define, plan and implement a regional profitable growth strategy.
- Work closely with HVAC OEM pursuit teams to establish local pursuit and support teams.
- Prepare and deliver region specific presentation content to customers and local / global business leaders.
- Negotiating and making offers in accordance with company policy, code of conduct and law.
- Prepare and deliver periodic performance and VOC feedback reporting (flash reporting).
- Support trade shows and industry associations as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and work rules and regulations.

**Your background**:

- Bachelor’s or higher degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineer
- Demonstrated industry influence and demand creation mentoring
- Demonstrate the ability to influence, mentor and guide other sales professionals in regions and countries to build a comprehensive and effective HVACR sales team
- Demonstrated ability to sell technical solutions and services.
- Account management history of OEM, End User and Commercial Channel Partners in the HVAC industry
- Understanding of customer needs, experience in customer interface and strong presentation skills.
- Fluency in English is essential (written and spoken) and knowledge of German will be considered as a plus
- Willingness to travel (30-50%)
