As a seasoned sales professional, you have the opportunity to join Gi Group SA and take on the role of Business Development Manager - Herbal Extracts. This exciting position involves driving sales growth for our herbal extract products in Europe and overseas.

About the Job

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in sales, preferably with experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Your expertise should lie in developing and executing sales strategies, managing key accounts, and expanding market presence. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and providing market insights to support product development and marketing initiatives.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers in Europe and overseas
  • Identify new business opportunities and drive sales growth for Herbal extracts
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement sales strategies
  • Provide market insights and feedback to internal teams to support product development and marketing initiatives
  • Achieve sales targets and KPI's set by the company
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activities

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Pharma, Business, Marketing or related field
  • 5-10 years of experience in sales of herbal extracts (must have)
  • Proven track record of driving sales growth and exceeding targets
  • Deep understanding of the market dynamics, regulatory requirements, and industry trends in Europe and overseas
  • Successfully built and managed a diverse portfolio of clients, including multinational pharma companies, contract manufacturing organizations (CMOs) and generic drug manufacturers
  • Strong network of industry contacts and played a pivotal role in expanding market reach and brand visibility in Europe and overseas
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Fluent English language skills
  • Additional European languages are a plus
