**Role Summary**
The PX Partner serves as the HR Business Partner supporting Nielsen’s Media population in Switzerland. The PX Partner provides operational guidance on all areas of HR support in the country and will ensure best in class HR practices are deployed to the country and adjusted where necessary. The PX Partner is accountable for compliance with all employment laws and regulations in Switzerland, and will also partner with the Global Talent Strategy team to provide input and align People actions with the larger Business Unit-specific talent strategies.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Deliver best-in class HR support and services for our team in Switzerland and provide local context for international HR initiatives
- Provide advice and guidance to People Leaders on a broad range of important People Resources issues including reward, employee relations, talent, performance management, organization development/change, culture and leadership
- Coach and support People Leaders on how to build employee engagement and maintain highly motivated teams
- Partner with Global Talent Strategist teams in talent management and career development matters
- Take accountability for local deployment & delivery of HR processes and ensure accurate data management on all organizational changes complying with internal processes and procedures
- Provide effective employee relations and a positive working climate locally, closely working with employee representatives groups and line management
- Be a champion for employee advocacy and engagement
- Maintaining strong partnership with all key stakeholders in the HR model to enable integrated HR Service delivery
- Interface with our Centers of Excellence to ensure a consistent approach on Culture, Leadership and Engagement initiatives
- Support wider business and HR change programmes and manage the local implementation of initiatives
- Ensures all practices adhere to the utmost integrity and compliance in all regulatory matters
**Key Experience & Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field preferred
- Proven years of experience in a generalist capacity providing support across topics like Employee Relations, Reward, Resourcing, Development and Employment Law
- Knowledge of Swiss employment laws, regulations, and procedures
- Hands on experience with HRIS systems and good MS Office skills (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and ideally the Google Suite
- Open to change and first hands-on experience in helping People Leaders and employees to navigate change
- The ability to identify process improvements, challenging the status quo and resolve roadblocks
- Well-developed customer and relationship management skills to partner with People Managers and the Swiss leadership to deliver an exceptional employee experience
- Ability to build a positive employee relations climate, advocate for employees
- Process driven and methodical in approach to implementing programs & HR solutions
- Experience and knowledge in managing HR activities and resources; balancing conflicting priorities and handling ambiguities
- Fluid in **English and Italian**, other European languages are a plus
