Cerchiamo per il nostro team in Ticino una/un dirigente che affiancherà l'attuale per un periodo per poi sostituirla dal 2024.

In this senior position you will be responsible of a team and lead our mission to drive growth in Ticino. Your responsibilities will include overall strategic development, coordination of day-to-day sales and marketing activities, management and development of staff, and oversight of P&L.

You will lead an entrepreneurial and international business and directly influence its development and growth in the education/study abroad market in Ticino. In this highly visible role, you will assume the position of the face of a well-known and highly visible brand. We are looking for a manager who will work with the current responsible and grow into full leadership of the sales market within the year.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Develop, execute, and support your team to meet short and long-term sales goals in the Swiss Italian market.
  2. Understand and beat previous year’s sales accomplishments.
  3. Have knowledge of current sales trends in your markets, and always be thinking 5 steps ahead.
  4. Overall responsibility for coordinating day-to-day sales activities.
  5. Analysis of your teams, sales situation, the current market, and our competitors.
  6. Develop sales and marketing strategies and implement and evaluate tactics.
  7. Contribute to the development of the dedicated product under your responsibility.

Operations

  1. Control and monitor budgets as well as ensure effective expense planning and cost controls.
  2. Build up new links and maintain existing relations with schools and universities.
  3. Manage time for local administrative work like invoicing, visa preparation, marketing material distributions, and so on.
  4. Assist in creating marketing material and the production of it.

Staff Management

  1. Motivate sales teams, establishing individual and team goals and objectives.
  2. Performance management of sales coordinators, including performance reviews and development plans.
  3. Identify staffing needs and execute successful recruitment campaigns.

REQUIREMENTS

  1. Degree from a reputable University in Marketing, Business Administration, or equivalent.
  2. 5+ years work experience.
  3. A highly energetic and ambitious self-starter.
  4. Entrepreneurial spirit with a strong sense of ownership.
  5. Tested leadership ability.
  6. Strong business acumen and commercial instincts.
  7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  8. Fully fluent in Italian and professional in written and verbal English.

Desired Skills and Experience

  1. A graduate degree qualification or equivalent, preferably in sales, marketing, business, administration or a related discipline.
  2. 1-2 years of team leadership experience.
  3. Experience living abroad.
  4. Master of Business Administration, strongly preferred.
  5. Experience in a service-oriented industry.
