Program Manager Fellowship Administration

The AO Foundation's Community Development department is seeking a dedicated professional to join our dynamic team focused on the administration of our AO Fellowship programs.
About the RoleIn this position, you will play a key role in providing a memorable and impactful experience for young surgeons participating in our fellowship programs. Your proactive, reliable, and detail-oriented approach will ensure the smooth management of all aspects of the short-term fellowship program, with a focus on AO Spine.
- Manage daily activities of the fellowship, including serving as the primary point of contact for fellows throughout their fellowship experience, providing guidance and support.
- Monitor all activities of the fellowship and initiate stipend payments in a timely manner.
- Oversee the budget for the fellowship program.
- Coordinate the application process, including reviewing applications for completeness.
- Facilitate the placement process and monitor the budget.
- Utilize Fellowship management system and Salesforce as business tools.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- BSc or Higher Education "Fachausweis" in a relevant field (Information Technology, Management, or Business).
- Excellent communication skills, ensuring clear and professional interaction with fellows, host institutions, and other stakeholders.
- Strong project coordination skills, with accurate and reliable, proactive, structured, and detail-oriented working methods.
- Strong service and people orientation, with the ability to collaborate within the team and provide mutual support.
- Excellent English written and spoken skills.
- A willingness to work in a hybrid environment, with 2 days/week in office required.
