The Role
This Senior Project Manager is a key position within our Payments Connectivity and Compliance capability, working within a collaborative, international team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing customers' projects throughout their entire life cycle, ensuring timely and budget-friendly delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage customers' projects from initiation to closure, ensuring alignment with company goals and customer requirements.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, coordinating technical personnel during all project phases.
- Oversight and accountability for all customer projects completed on-time and within budget.
- Identify project risks and provide appropriate escalation and mitigation plans.
- Provide high-quality consulting and professional services to customers, ensuring predictable and valuable interactions.
- Establish and maintain deep customer contacts and working relationships.
- Liaise between project members, cross-functional teams, external vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure deliverables, requirements, schedules, cost, and meeting plans are communicated.
- Proactive and frequent communication of progress, on all levels, internally and with customers.
Requirements
- Fluent in Swiss German (native), German, and English.
- French is desirable.
- Previous banking industry experience.
- Able to demonstrate international customer-facing interactions within large, complex projects.
- Experience in technology deployment with IT services or software solutions.
- Must be able to interact with senior stakeholders.
- Project management methodologies and tools.
- Demonstrable problem-solving, analytical skills, time management, and risk management.
- Excels in driving results in a matrix-structured organization.
- Excited and eager to learn about new technologies and SaaS-based services.
- PMP certification, or similar, is a plus.
- Prior interaction with Atlassian (JIRA and Confluence) and Salesforce as issue tracking and CRM tools.
