Schweiz Microsoft Vollzeit

The Microsoft Industry Leader Education Switzerland is responsible for the Microsoft Business with Schools and Universities in Switzerland from primary schools all the way to Universities and Research Institutions.

Education Industry Managers at Microsoft need to manage a diverse portfolio from sales to marketing program alignment, to the development of Education channels, engagement of services, enhance Microsoft reputation in Education and demonstrate Microsoft to be a force for good and ultimately improving the student learning outcomes of a nation. This is an exciting role where the growth impact on multiple stakeholders is immense. Responsibilities include:

- Mobilizing, orchestrating, mentoring and leading the Microsoft Education team, partners and customer in order to help solidify the path to the complex yet exciting journey that is Digital Transformation
- Bringing innovative ideas that showcase Microsoft's unique value proposition for education
- Leading the Education team with a customer-centric approach, that drives simplicity and tech intensity
- Planning and overseeing the process of structuring deals and defining the negotiation strategies for customer accounts
- Establishing Microsoft as a leader in education transformation and future ready skills
- Continuously nurturing and expanding your sales, industry, technology and competitive knowledge and capabilities

- Acts as an industry advisor to the executive-level business decision makers at the customer's business and coaches their team on ways to expand their relationship with customers.

**Sales Execution**
- Coaches their team on ways to recognize customers' industry readiness and address their needs.
- Provides direction on the development of industry-specific.
- Leads team to identify and track new opportunities.
- Leverages the account management team and other stakeholders to build a pipeline within the assigned industry and territory.
- Leads their team in the proposal or development of solutions that align with customer and Microsoft priorities by leveraging internal teams and partners.
- Coaches the team to initiate conversations with strategic customers on digital transformation, identify opportunities, and engage customers to drive growth.
- Proactively coaches their team on ensuring customer and partner satisfaction.
- Generates demand through industry events and other activities/presentations/customer events and internal teams (e.g., industry teams).
- Leads efforts to educate the account management team on the necessary industry, competitor, and partner content.

**Partner Management and Collaboration**
- Guides their team to build a network of partners across the industry.
- Leads the account management team and partners to connect the partner ecosystems and scale business results.

**Technical Expertise**
- Facilitates conversations and sets up events (mostly informally) worldwide within Microsoft.
- Coaches their team on business and market knowledge.
- Develops strategies to position Microsoft solutions, services, and capabilities.

**Qualifications**:**
Required/Minimum Qualifications**
- Significant experience working in the Education Industry or another relevant industry domain,
- OR Bachelor's Degree in a relevant industry domain (e.g., Government, Education) or related field (e.g., Computer Science, Business Administration) AND strong years experience working in an industry domain.
- Proven years of experience in Sales.
- Fluent in German and English language.
**Additional or Preferred Qualifications**
- Strong years of experience in solution or services sales in a relevant industry domain (e.g., Education, Government or other)
- OR Proven experience in Education industry role.
- Sales Leadership experience.
- Strong experience in people management.
- Knowledge of the Microsoft solution offering.
- Relationship network in the Swiss Education system.
- Proficiency in French language.
