Do you have a flair for high-impact communications, a passion for technology, and the desire to make a real difference in a fast-moving environment?

We are looking for an experience communications leader to lead a dynamic executive communications program across EMEA

The person stepping into this role will help build and implement an executive comms strategy, crafting content in line with strategy. You will work closely with Oracle’s Executive Vice President responsible for the EMEA Technology business. Become a trusted advisor, understand business priorities, and the sometimes complicated world of enterprise technology. Part of your role will involve working with the team to execute specific communications projects across multiple forms of media. Communications approaches should be innovative, compelling and engaging as your content will run across our entire EMEA region.

The role sits within the EMEA internal communications team. This team defines "how" communication happens, aligning standards and standard methodologies. Most large lines of business have dedicated communicators with whom you’ll plan and coordinate activities.

Strong writing and interpersonal skills are crucial and good presentation development skills are highly recommended. It would also be useful if you have worked with senior executives at a large, international company.

**Role and Responsibilities**:

- Work closely EVP EMEA Technology to understand business priorities, success, change and challenges.
- Define target audiences, objectives, and messages for proactive messaging.
- Create and design content based on message, audience and situation.
- Become a trusted advisor, with the ability and style to push back and shape ideas when required.
- You will be flexible enough to move seamlessly from programmatic comms to reactive messaging.
- Select effective tools, media, and technologies for message delivery.
- The range of audiences will be wide, to internal employees, specific teams, partners and press - experience and the ability to understand each will be key.
- Share standard methodologies with other members of the country and EMEA communications teams.
- Use internal or external resources to deliver to the strategy.
- Ensure quality and timely delivery of initiatives.

**Requirements**:

- Experience working with Executive level business leaders on a one-to-one basis.
- Ability to use a variety of communications techniques across different media.
- Enterprise software and technology experience highly preferred.
- Understanding of a matrix organisation including cross-line of business activities and stakeholders a plus.
- Creativity in thought and content.

**Skills**:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strategic communications planning. Discretion when managing sensitive information. Networking, influencing, and collaborator/relationship management. EMEA teamwork and standard methodology sharing. Ability to work as a great teammate in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrated ability to operate both strategically & execute tactically as the need arises.

**Other**:
Relevant university degree (English, writing, communications, marketing etc.). Master’s or advanced degree a plus. Resilience, flexibility & adaptability.
