Job Description

Organon is looking for a National Sales Manager to join us in Switzerland. In this position you will play a pivotal role in driving sales growth, ensuring the successful execution of sales strategies, and leading a team of 5 pharmaceutical sales representatives. Your dedication and leadership will be instrumental in achieving and surpassing sales targets while adhering to ethical business practices.

Role Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:

  • Devise and execute comprehensive sales strategies that align with the company's vision and regional market trends to maximize revenue and market share.

  • Identify emerging opportunities and challenges, adapting strategies as needed to stay ahead in the rapidly evolving pharmaceutical landscape.

  • Continuously analyze and adapt go to market approach according to portfolio and business needs in collaboration with Marketing, Market Access, and Senior Management

Team Empowerment:

  • Lead, mentor, and inspire the pharmaceutical sales representatives, nurturing their potential and fostering a culture of excellence and inclusivity.

  • Conduct regular performance assessments and implement tailored development plans to accelerate the team's professional growth.

Sales Target Excellence:

  • Set ambitious and measurable sales targets, driving the team to exceed performance expectations and achieve sustained success.

  • Utilize data-driven insights to optimize sales processes and refine approaches, ensuring peak efficiency and exceptional customer experiences.

  • Coach team to develop product and sales skills in the spirit of continuous improvement towards excellence

Market Penetration:

  • Forge strong relationships with key stakeholders, healthcare professionals, and strategic partners, expanding our market presence and influence.

  • Identify new market segments and untapped opportunities, driving targeted expansion efforts for our product portfolio.

Compliance and Ethics:

  • Uphold the highest ethical standards and compliance with industry regulations, ensuring the team adheres to all relevant policies and guidelines.

  • Champion a culture of integrity and transparency, fostering trust with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.

Performance management  and analytics:

  • Infuse within the team a culture of performance to drive the business ambition up

  • Conduct rigorous analysis of sales data, market trends, and customer feedback to make data-backed decisions and strategic recommendations.

  • Prepare comprehensive reports and executive summaries, presenting insights to senior management and contributing to strategic planning.

Collaboration:

  • Work collaboratively with Market Access, Medical, Marketing, commercial operations to ensure that sales activities, events, and initiatives align with the access and pricing strategies, product positioning, marketing strategy, engagement strategies maximizing product uptake in the market.

Role Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field. An advanced degree is preferred.

  • Proven track record of at least 7 years in pharmaceutical sales, with a substantial portion in a sales management or leadership capacity.

  • Comprehensive knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry, regulations, and market intricacies in Switzerland.

  • Demonstrated ability to consistently surpass sales targets, drive team performance, and strategically lead market expansion efforts.

  • Good communication, negotiation, and presentation skills in German, French and/or Italian and English.

  • Analytical prowess and strategic thinking to assess complex market dynamics and formulate innovative solutions.

  • Inspiring leadership qualities, fostering a collaborative, results-oriented, and inclusive team culture.

  • Unwavering commitment to upholding ethical standards and regulatory compliance
