Commercial Business Development Manager Vaccines

We are currently looking for a field based **Commercial Business Development Manager Vaccines (M/F/d)** with national responsibility who will maximize the growth of our private market vaccines sales across Switzerland.

They will report to the Business Unit Director, Vaccines, and work closely with colleagues from a range of functions including Marketing, Access, Sales, Policy, Legal, Compliance and others. They will be responsible for developing viable growth strategies aligned to private market strategic goals, devising action plans to realise this growth through direct sales engagement and partnering with important accounts to drive significant business growth.

As we are looking to significantly expand the Vaccines business line, the Commercial Business Development Manager (M/F/d) role is a unique and entrepreneurial opportunity to establish a completely new set of customer segments and have a direct impact on public health in Switzerland.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Create and maintain business development plan for new priority segments and customer types
- Source, qualify and convert high-potential leads into paying customers
- Build strong partnerships and long-term engagement with relevant accounts, by co-creating business solutions that are a win-win for our company and the customers
- Create customer-specific account plans with clear measures of success, and track projects based on relevant indicators
- Implement new and innovative solutions that address evolving customer needs, goals and challenges
- Partner with cross-functional teams to maximize opportunities within targeted accounts
- Leverage data analytics and business insights to identify new opportunities and drive business growth
- Incorporate learnings to reshape the targeting strategy and customer plans

**Qualifications**:

- Business or Life Science Degree or equivalent
- Previous successful experience in account management/sales while navigating complex buying processes
- Entrepreneurial approach, self-motivated to lead innovative projects in an established environment
- Excellent negotiation skills and ability to influence others
- Strong business and financial acumen, and analytical abilities
- Comfort with commercial experimentation and customer project implementation
- Sales mindset, results-oriented, and passion for success
- Skilled in distilling complex technical topics into relevant insights and messages
- High written and spoken proficiency in German, English and ideally French
