**The Role**

You will be a member of a growing business unit at Veeva and will be accountable for defining and shaping the market and understanding customer unmet needs. The position requires a deep understanding of and experience with pharmaceutical R&D processes and technologies, especially within site selection and clinical protocol development. You will work closely with our customers, Product Management, and Engineering teams to ensure a successful launch and create a commercial roadmap for continual innovation. As the business matures, you be responsible for identifying and executing key commercial deals in partnership with sales and products, as well as managing key client projects and relationships with the largest global pharmaceutical companies. You will maintain a public presence for the business at industry events and conferences and ensure the continued rapid growth of our market share.

**What You’ll Do**
- Define the European customer strategy for Veeva Link clinical products (SiteBase and TrialBase) and oversee its execution
- Advise our Product Management team on European market dynamics and evolving customer needs
- Work with our sales and marketing teams to ensure relevant marketing messaging and the success of our sales organization as it scales
- Define the European go-to-market strategy for Link SiteBase and TrialBase, and oversee its execution
- Identify and onboard early adopter customers, ensuring their success, creating strong references for the business
- Provide thought leadership to the market, speaking at conferences and authoring thought leadership articles

**Requirements**:

- 10+ years of experience in professional services/consulting/pharma with a focus on the pharmaceutical R&D/data sectors
- Deep healthcare environment understanding and experience, especially within site selection and clinical trial development
- Strong network across the Pharmaceutical and Medical Device industry, particularly in Clinical Development and Operations teams.
- Strong track record translating customer needs into product innovation and solutions
- Excellent critical thinking, analysis, and presentation skills
- Ability to travel extensively for customer meetings and internal events in the future

**Nice to Have**
- Experience in clinical trial site monitoring and investigative PI relationship building
