VP, Global Strategic Pricing
**Your responsibilities**:
- Assess market conditions, commercial and channel strategies, and create pricing strategies that will help us achieve overall commercial strategy.
- Communicate strategy, vision and opportunities to transform the business across senior leaders and operating managers by synthesizing learnings from multiple sources and complex analysis to develop fact-based, actionable recommendations supported by thought leadership and best practices.
- Work with product management teams on established value-based pricing for product launches.
- Provide market & pricing best practices and intelligence as needed (leveraging internal/external market insights).
- Cross Functional collaboration with product management, marketing, sales and finance teams to collect and analyze data, create business case including customer use cases.
- Synthesize findings from multiple sources and complex analysis to develop fact-based, actionable recommendations supported by thought leadership
- Provide Quantitative and Qualitative insights to leadership to influence decisions.
- Build and manage a small team of experts that can run multiple projects against deliverables & timelines simultaneously involving multiple stakeholders
- Establish List Price and support product management and channels team:, own and manage the catalog price book and SKU catalog list price establishment.
- Work with channel partners on establish proper guidelines for the channel/indirect partners.
- Lead projects to drive efficiency and process improvement.
- Identify, design and lead projects intended to create efficiencies, standardize business practices, drive process improvements and deliver high impact analysis for decision making.
- Responsible for creating processes, and proper documentation outlining deal management processes.
- Ensure (with HR Manager support) that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled and directed.
- Coach, motivate and develop direct and indirect subordinates within HR policies and drive and ensure know-how sharing and cross
- collaboration.
**Your background**:
- Bachelor’s or higher degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting (MBA, CPP, or equivalent experience is considered as a plus)
- 10+ years of experience in in product and pricing knowledge is required, supporting negotiating and approving commercial deal structures
- Strong project management, planning, and organization skills, including ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Fluency in English is essential (written and spoken);
- Superior analytical and problem-solving skills, with demonstrated intellectual and analytical rigor
- Ability to demonstrate effective leadership in ambiguous and frequently changing situations
- Thorough understanding of systems solutions business in energy industries including Oil & Gas, Chemicals & Refining and Power Generation.
- Robust functional expertise and career experience in sales, sales support and strategy & business development with business and financial acumen for leading commercial negotiations and agreements.
- Willing to travel up to 40% of the time.
