Director of Medical Communications Strategy

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead end-to-end roadmap of strategic solutions for our clients by understanding their needs and challenges
- Inspire teams to push the boundaries of digital engagement, omnichannel solutions, and other creative avenues of medical communications
- Guide clients with research and innovation by staying abreast of industry trends and medical affairs
- Confident in providing guidance to clients and internal teams
- Works with a lot of independence, but is also an important internal scientific and medical resource for the agency
- Collaborates seamlessly with international, cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, highly regulated industry
- Holds true to the vision of the strategic roadmap and encourages excellent operational execution

**Qualifications**:

- An advanced Life Sciences degree, ideally a PhD, PharmD, or MD
- 7-10 year’s medical communications experience, ideally in an industry setting
- Deep expertise in Medical Affairs and Medical Communications strategy
- Strategic mindset combined with a strong scientific acumen - able to envision the problem, formulate a creative solution, and guide all those around them into successful project outcomes with a shared vision
- An understanding of Medical Communications challenges in a broad range of therapy areas and rare diseases
- Operational and tactical know-how of best practices for executing strategic initiatives
- Solid grounding in pharmaceutical standards, compliance, and regulations
- Strong intrinsic motivation
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills - to native-speaker level
- Proficiency with Apple Devices and G-Suite Office Tools advantageous
