Global Medical Director

This position is reporting to the Senior Director of Rare Blood Disorders, which is anchored within Global Medical Affairs.

**The Position**

As Global Medical Director, you will be responsible to lead global medical affairs projects for Sickle Cell Disease within Rare Blood Disorders. We expect you to deliver timely, accurate and credible medical launch plans, scientific communication, medical guidance, and education across medical affairs focus areas to internal and external stakeholders.

Furthermore:

- You will cooperate with clinical operations to support clinical trial design, recruitment, retention, and communication and you will drive additional clinical activities (e.g. real-world data).
- Lastly, you will develop and execute publication plan in collaboration with the Global Publication Manager.

**Qualifications**

We imagine you are medical doctor or a life science graduate and bring several years’ experience working in Hemoglobinopathies, Haemophilia, or other blood disorders, ideally working in an agile environment in more than one country.
- You describe yourself as curious about new therapeutic areas, able to propose innovative solutions, and you have gained significance experience in medical affairs in the pharmaceutical industry.
- You bring level of independence, good organizational skills, demonstrated ability to collaborate cross functionally with commercial and market access functions
