Associate Director of Strategy, Vault Clinical Ops

**The Role**

This role is responsible for the effective and coherent business and market-facing aspects of the Vault Clinical Operations Suite. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a team of Life Sciences industry and technology A-players, who, together, are modernizing clinical trial operations, supporting Sponsor transition from paper to digital, and bringing the digital trials capabilities to the life sciences industry.

The Associate Director of Strategy, Vault Clinical Operations role requires an understanding of the global life sciences clinical operations space with an emphasis on Europe and clinical outsourcing. You will be responsible for growing Veeva’s Clinical Operations market share with and adoption of Veeva Vault Clinical Operations Suite, such as eTMF, Clinical Trial Management System (CTMS), Study Start-Up (SSU), Payments and SiteConnect products in xSMB - Small and Medium Size Businesses, with a focus on biotech accounts across Europe.

You will be responsible for our reference selling model for the xSMB. The focus will be to help identify and win key deals supporting the sales team, facilitate Sponsor decisions on digital transformation, ensure product adoption by the customer base, play an ongoing role in senior-level customer discussions, and evangelize the product in public events.

- Grow and sustain the customer base
- Provide thought leadership and sales support to internal teams
- Provide business guidance to the product team
- Coordinate resources across the customer lifecycle from sales to delivery and throughout
- Ensure long term post-implementation success
- Present at industry conferences, lead webinars, and author articles for industry publications

**Requirements**:

- Min. 3 years’ experience working at Sponsor Clinical Operations or CROs or Strategy consulting firm in life sciences
- Min. 3 years’ experience in business development with a proven track record - you need to be strongly familiar with sales
- Strong consultative and analytical skills
- Fast learner and flexible
- Can work autonomously in a fast pace and multicultural environment
- Strong collaboration skills
- Team spirit
- Ability to travel for customer meetings and presentations

**Nice to Have**
- Experience in selling SaaS software
- Evidence of industry presentations and/or publications
- Additional European language knowledge
