About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Municipal Corporate Accounts Director to join our team in Europe. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with key distributors and strategic accounts in the European municipal markets.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop Long-Term Partnerships: Build and maintain collaborative relationships with key distributors and strategic accounts in the European municipal markets.
  2. Safety and Compliance: Ensure the safety of yourself and others through rigorous use of safe practices and procedures.
  3. Market Analysis and Planning: Leverage in-depth understanding of markets and customers to develop joint business plans in line with Solenis business strategy and commercial targets.
  4. Customer Relationship Management: Analyze decision-making processes within customer organizations and initiate contact at various levels within customer organizations.
  5. Senior Management Relationships: Build strong contacts at senior management levels of accounts.
  6. Business Strategy Implementation: Lead and partner with customers for business strategies implementation and plan execution, conducting regular business reviews.
  7. Account Management and Sales: Be the face of the company and responsible for all sales, account correspondence, contracts, orders received, new business implementation, troubleshooting, trade shows, and follow-ups.
  8. Market Data and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive acquisition and evaluation of relevant market, customer, and competition data and maintenance of this data in market information systems.
Requirements
  1. Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree, preferably in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering.
  2. Experience: Sales experience in the Water Treatment industry and Municipal expertise are required.
  3. Distributors Management: Distributors management experience with the ability to build strong and committed relationships with Distributors.
  4. Technical Knowledge: Sound technical knowledge of municipal Wastewater Treatment/Sewage Treatment and legislation.
  5. Language Skills: Fluent English.
  6. Travel Requirements: This is a field-based role and frequent travels up to 50% within designated areas will be required.
  7. Customer Focus: Ability to fulfill customer needs and expectations.
  8. Delivering Results: Deliver against strategic business KPIs.
  9. Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels in the organization and with clients.
