Municipal Corporate Accounts Director, Europe

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Municipal Corporate Accounts Director to join our team in Europe. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with key distributors and strategic accounts in the European municipal markets.
Key Responsibilities- Develop Long-Term Partnerships: Build and maintain collaborative relationships with key distributors and strategic accounts in the European municipal markets.
- Safety and Compliance: Ensure the safety of yourself and others through rigorous use of safe practices and procedures.
- Market Analysis and Planning: Leverage in-depth understanding of markets and customers to develop joint business plans in line with Solenis business strategy and commercial targets.
- Customer Relationship Management: Analyze decision-making processes within customer organizations and initiate contact at various levels within customer organizations.
- Senior Management Relationships: Build strong contacts at senior management levels of accounts.
- Business Strategy Implementation: Lead and partner with customers for business strategies implementation and plan execution, conducting regular business reviews.
- Account Management and Sales: Be the face of the company and responsible for all sales, account correspondence, contracts, orders received, new business implementation, troubleshooting, trade shows, and follow-ups.
- Market Data and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive acquisition and evaluation of relevant market, customer, and competition data and maintenance of this data in market information systems.
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree, preferably in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering.
- Experience: Sales experience in the Water Treatment industry and Municipal expertise are required.
- Distributors Management: Distributors management experience with the ability to build strong and committed relationships with Distributors.
- Technical Knowledge: Sound technical knowledge of municipal Wastewater Treatment/Sewage Treatment and legislation.
- Language Skills: Fluent English.
- Travel Requirements: This is a field-based role and frequent travels up to 50% within designated areas will be required.
- Customer Focus: Ability to fulfill customer needs and expectations.
- Delivering Results: Deliver against strategic business KPIs.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels in the organization and with clients.
