Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team at Kanadevia Inova. As a Technical Support Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our waste-to-X technology systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and maintain workstation systems, servers, and network components.
  • Implement configuration specifications for systems and user interfaces.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues effectively.
  • Initiate escalation procedures for unresolved problems.
  • Coordinate vendor and consultant activities to ensure smooth operations.
  • Monitor and track hardware, software, and network availability and inventory.
  • Develop and maintain operations manuals, instructions, and checklists.
  • Assist users with procurement projects and solution implementations.
  • Create simple scripts and applications for user needs on workstations and mobile devices.
  • Evaluate application software based on organizational processes.
Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Technology, Computer Science, or Vocational Training (apprenticeship).
  • Proven 4+ years experience in similar role in a mid- to large sized company (150+ users).
  • Experience managing third-party services.
  • Strong operational skills in fast-paced environments.
  • Excellent customer-facing and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of ITIL and process improvement methodologies.
  • Assertive, independent, and methodical work style.
  • Proactive thinker with strong analytical skills.
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written), German language knowledge is an advantage.
