About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Specialist II to join our IT Services Organization at AWS EMEA SARL (Switzerland Branch). As a key member of our team, you will provide technical support to internal employees, focusing on PC hardware and operating systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support for internal employees, including troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues
  • Work with internal ticketing tool to communicate with customers and track issues
  • Prepare hardware for new hires and manage IT asset inventory
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and tools to provide expert support

Requirements

  • Experience supporting operating systems (Windows, Macintosh or Linux)
  • Experience supporting through various channels (on-premise)
  • Proficiency supporting office productivity applications (Outlook, Word, and Excel)
  • Experience using a ticket system for customer service requests
  • Experience with PC imaging and hardware troubleshooting

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of basic network troubleshooting
  • Understanding of basic concepts of Information Systems security
  • Experience providing IT support in a medium to large sized company
  • Ability to identify and proactively resolve or escalate issues
