About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Specialist II to join our IT Services Organization at AWS EMEA SARL (Switzerland Branch). As a key member of our team, you will provide technical support to internal employees, focusing on PC hardware and operating systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for internal employees, including troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues
- Work with internal ticketing tool to communicate with customers and track issues
- Prepare hardware for new hires and manage IT asset inventory
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and tools to provide expert support
Requirements
- Experience supporting operating systems (Windows, Macintosh or Linux)
- Experience supporting through various channels (on-premise)
- Proficiency supporting office productivity applications (Outlook, Word, and Excel)
- Experience using a ticket system for customer service requests
- Experience with PC imaging and hardware troubleshooting
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of basic network troubleshooting
- Understanding of basic concepts of Information Systems security
- Experience providing IT support in a medium to large sized company
- Ability to identify and proactively resolve or escalate issues
