Your Role and Work Environment

We are seeking an ambitious self-starter with a strong commercial drive to join our Zurich-based team as a Relationship Manager - Corporate Banking Solutions. The role requires relevant relationship management experience, corporate banking product expertise, and seasoned influencing skills. You will work closely with other teams across the bank's international network to become a leading corporate banking partner for companies in this region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop existing business relationships by enhancing product and geographical coverage.
  • Identify and originate new business opportunities with prospective clients in line with the bank's growth strategy and risk appetite.
  • Market the full range of ING's products and services to act as the bank's representative to clients and prospects up to Board Level.
  • Originate, lead, negotiate, and close new transactions in close cooperation with product specialists.
  • Act as the first point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders across products and network countries.
  • Develop strategic client account plans considering client needs, business potential, and risk allocation.
  • Ensure credit quality, KYC validity, and regulatory requirements of the portfolio.
  • Develop and coordinate knowledge sharing, fostering a culture of collaboration, client focus, continuous improvement, and innovation within the team.
