Private Banking Relationship Manager

At CH10 - BJB Bank Julius Baer & Co. Ltd., we're seeking a seasoned Relationship Manager to join our Private Banking team in the APAC market. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with high net worth clients, providing personalized wealth management solutions, and driving business growth.
Your Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain a portfolio of high net worth clients in the APAC market, focusing on relationship-building and client acquisition.
- Provide comprehensive wealth management solutions, including investment advice, portfolio management, and financial planning.
- Respond to client needs in a timely and professional manner, ensuring exceptional customer service.
- Assess and understand client financial situations, objectives, and risk tolerance to provide tailored solutions.
- Manage client assets in accordance with investment guidelines and in coordination with our Advisory Solutions and Investment Management departments.
- Stay up-to-date with market trends and adapt investment strategies as needed.
- Introduce our bank's products and services to clients, providing tailored investment solutions.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory procedures and maintain a high level of professionalism.
- Proven track record in acquiring new high net worth relationships through existing networks in the APAC market.
- At least 15 years of experience in advising sophisticated APAC-based clients, managing sizeable books in a Private Banking Financial Institution.
- Investment advisory competence and experience in local equities, bonds, and derivative instruments; portfolio management experience is an asset.
- Broad knowledge of global financial markets, economics, and current affairs.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive approach to identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities.
- In-depth knowledge of the APAC market, including the legal and regulatory framework.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a great sense of negotiation.
- Fluent in English and Chinese (written and spoken).
- Recent experience living and working in APAC is an advantage.
- Enjoy working independently and taking initiatives.
- Business-oriented with the capacity to think strategically in a fast-paced and challenging work environment.
- Ability to plan, set priorities, and work under pressure.
- Open, approachable, and a team player.
- Passionate about client service.
- Persistent and persuasive.
- Willingness and flexibility to travel.
- Relevant higher educational and professional background, e.g., holding a Master's Degree in Economics, Finance, and/or Business Administration or equivalent.
