Private Banking Relationship Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Private Banking Client Service Officer to join our team at EFG International. As a key member of our Private Banking team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional client service and support to our high net worth clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the CROs in the daily business activities, ensuring seamless execution of client transactions and requests.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing regular and prompt communication through phone, email, and in-person visits.
  • Execute client account openings, closures, and KYC reviews, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare and follow up on client visits, ensuring accurate documentation and timely completion of tasks.
  • Manage client instructions, including stock market transactions, payments, and foreign currency trades, ensuring timely execution and control.
  • Perform various administrative and organizational tasks, including client reviews, missing/pending documents, and marketing material preparation.
  • Stay up-to-date with changing environments and new platforms/systems, ensuring seamless integration and client education.
  • Comply with the Code of Conduct and all internal regulations, ensuring a high level of integrity and professionalism.
Requirements
  • University degree or Commercial apprenticeship in a Bank or similar banking-related education.
  • Minimum 2 years of previous experience in a private banking environment.
  • Good understanding of financial instruments, including equities, bonds, structured products, and derivatives.
  • Excellent Windows office skills, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Ability to cope with pressure, deadlines, and flexible working hours.
  • Proficient in written and spoken English, with proficiency in additional languages a plus.
  • Team player with a solution-driven mindset and pragmatic approach.
