ING Switzerland - Corporate Banking Relationship Manager

As a Corporate Banking Relationship Manager at ING Switzerland, you will play a key role in building and maintaining strong relationships with our corporate clients in Switzerland. Your expertise in corporate banking and finance will enable you to identify and originate new business opportunities, while also developing and executing strategic client account plans.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and further develop existing business relationships with corporate clients in Switzerland
  • Identify and originate new business opportunities in accordance with ING's growth strategy and risk appetite
  • Market the full range of ING's corporate banking products and services to clients and prospects
  • Originating, leading, negotiating and closing new transactions in close cooperation with product specialists
  • Act as the first point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders across products and network countries
  • Develop and coordinate knowledge sharing, fostering a culture of collaboration, client focus, continuous improvement, and innovation within the team
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in finance, banking, economics or other relevant discipline
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of commercial work experience in relationship management/origination, combined with corporate banking product expertise
  • Excellent communication, influencing and negotiation skills
  • Proven ability to build and develop client relationships, win new business mandates, close transactions, and develop networks both internally and externally
  • Good credit risk knowledge, as well as knowledge of TS, FM, DCM and advisory products
  • Relevant KYC and compliance knowledge and experience
  • Execution capabilities and the ability to drive and coordinate processes end to end
  • Results-oriented with a positive mindset to contribute to overall team results
  • Strong team player, self-motivated, with high work ethics
  • Fluent in English, with German and/or French being an asset
