Job Title: Relationship Manager Private Banking

At CH10 - BJB Bank Julius Baer & Co. Ltd., we are seeking a skilled Relationship Manager Private Banking to join our team. As a key member of our Private Banking department, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our high net worth clients in the APAC market.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain a portfolio of (U) HNWI clients with a focus on the APAC market.
  • Create and build trust-based relationships with clients through regular and personalized contacts.
  • Respond to client needs in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assess and ascertain client financial situations and objectives.
  • Provide general wealth management services, including formulating integrated solutions based on client objectives.
  • Manage client assets in accordance with investment guidelines and in coordination with the Advisory Solutions and Investment Management departments.
  • Monitor the evolution of financial markets and adapt investment strategies accordingly.
  • Introduce the Bank's products and services to clients, providing tailored investment solutions.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory procedures.
Your Profile:
  • Proven track-record in acquiring new (U) HNWI relationships through existing networks in the APAC market.
  • At least 15 years of experience in advising sophisticated APAC-based clients, managing sizeable books in a Private Banking Financial Institution.
  • Investment advisory competence and experience in local equities, bonds, and extensive knowledge in derivative instruments; portfolio management experience would be an asset.
  • Broad know-how of global financial markets, economics, and current affairs.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive approach to identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities.
  • In-depth knowledge of the APAC Market, including the legal and regulatory framework.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a great sense of negotiation.
  • Fluent in English and Chinese (written and spoken).
  • Recent experience living and working in APAC would be an advantage.
  • Enjoy working independently and taking initiatives.
  • Business-oriented with the capacity to think strategically in a fast-paced and challenging work environment.
  • Ability to plan, set priorities, and work under pressure.
  • Open, approachable, and team player.
  • Passionate about client service.
  • Persistent and persuasive.
  • Willingness and flexibility to travel.
  • Relevant higher educational and professional background, e.g., holding a Master's Degree in Economics, Finance, and/or Business Administration or equivalent.
