About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Formalities Control Manager to join our Private Banking division in Zurich. This exciting opportunity will see you manage a small team, ensuring the highest standard of formalities control within the Private Banking division Switzerland, adhering to Swiss regulations and internal frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the formalities control process within the Private Banking division Switzerland, ensuring compliance with Swiss regulations and internal frameworks.
  • Manage and lead a team of 3-4 professionals based in Zurich and Geneva, providing guidance, support, and performance evaluations.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Middle Office to implement and enhance formalities control procedures and best practices.
  • Ensure accuracy and attention to detail in the documentation and compliance checks related to client onboarding, KYC, and regulatory reporting.
  • Act as a point of contact for stakeholders regarding formalities control matters, addressing queries and providing clarity on processes.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to discuss challenges, share best practices, and ensure operational efficiency.
  • Monitor team performance and workload, reallocating resources as necessary to meet deadlines and operational goals.
  • Support the ongoing training and development of team members to enhance skills and knowledge in formalities control processes.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in formalities control within the Swiss private banking environment.
  • A relevant degree in finance or business administration is preferred.
  • Experience in managing a small team, demonstrating strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a thorough understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements in the private banking sector.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, in German and English; proficiency French is an advantage.

What We Offer

As a Formalities Control Manager, you can expect a competitive salary of CHF 120,000 - 150,000 per annum, depending on your experience and qualifications.
