Job Overview

The CMO Business Development Manager is responsible for leading the development and execution of a top-tier contract manufacturing business strategy and operational framework for MS Pharma. This role involves establishing processes, governance, and a cross-functional team to support the successful implementation of the strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Managing the entire contract manufacturing service life cycle from proposal generation to contract negotiation and ongoing client relationships.
  2. Expanding MS Pharma's contract manufacturing brand awareness through effective marketing and revenue analyses.
  3. Developing and executing a business development strategy to identify and target potential new clients.
  4. Overseeing the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of contract manufacturing business processes across the organization.
Requirements
  1. A Master's degree or B.Sc. in Pharmacy, physical or biological sciences, Chemical Engineering.
  2. 10+ years of combined business development/sales and scientific/technical experience in the CMO industry with an existing customer network.
  3. In-depth understanding of CMO operations and processes within a manufacturing organization.
  4. Experience/understanding of the proposal development process, business quotes, budgeting, and managing committed timelines.
  5. Proficiency in both written and spoken English languages. Other languages are an asset.

This is a highly dynamic and challenging role that requires strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
