About the Role

Swissblock Technologies AG is seeking a highly skilled Senior Operations Associate to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth execution of our trading activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Trade Capture and Reconciliation: Support portfolio managers and execution traders by capturing trades, reconciling positions, and resolving trade-related queries.
  • Position and Cash Reconciliation: Manage the complexity of daily positions and cash reconciliation, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • OMS Data Integrity: Ensure the reliability of mark-to-market PnL by maintaining consistency of information in our Order Management System.
Interfacing with Teams
  • Technology Team: Collaborate with our technology team to improve workflow and reporting automation, increasing scalability and efficiency.
  • Compliance Team: Work with our compliance team to maintain automated order filtering and manage exceptions.
  • Treasury Activity: Ensure safe operation of portfolio managers and executing traders by managing collateral and cash-equivalent activities.
  • Pricing and Valuation Review: Focus on easing communication through common data standards and understanding.
Requirements
  • Experience: Proven hands-on experience of at least five years in an operations team with significant flow, including automated trading.
  • Operations Procedures: Personal hands-on experience of at least three years in performing trade settlement, position and PnL reconciliations, and standard line-item management for IRS.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of futures and IRS, including associated operations workflows, and excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Relocation: Willing to relocate to Switzerland (Zurich / Zug area).
Preferred Experience
  • CDS/CDX, FX Forwards, and Cash Equities: Proven hands-on experience in credit-related workflows, such as blended-coupon compressions for CDX.
  • Collateral Management: Experience in margin and cash management.
  • Corporate Actions: Experience with corporate actions in cash equities.
  • Language: Proficiency in German.
