We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Tester to join our team at Global Message Services. As a key member of our Quality Assurance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our messaging CPaaS platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Develop Automation Scripts: Utilize open-source tools and frameworks to validate the functionality, performance, and scalability of our messaging CPaaS platform.
  • Collaborate with Development Team: Work closely with our development team to understand feature requirements and develop effective test plans and automation strategies.
  • Integrate Automated Tests with CI/CD Pipelines: Ensure continuous testing and feedback by integrating automated tests with our CI/CD pipelines.
  • Identify and Track Bugs: Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs through to resolution.
  • Perform Regression Testing: Conduct thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
  • Analyze Test Results: Analyze test results, identify areas for improvement in the software development process, and make recommendations to the development team.
  • Stay Up-to-Date with New Testing Tools and Strategies: Stay current with new testing tools and test strategies to improve test processes.
  • Collaborate with Development and Operations Teams: Collaborate with our development and operations teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
  • Participate in Test Automation Framework Development: Participate in the creation and enhancement of test automation frameworks.
  • Provide Feedback and Recommendations: Provide feedback and recommendations to developers on software usability and functionality.
  • Conduct Manual Testing: Conduct manual testing when necessary to complement automated tests.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Related Field: A bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field is required.
  • Proven Experience as a QA Tester or Similar Role: Proven experience as a QA tester or similar role, with a strong focus on automation testing.
  • Experience in Writing Clear, Concise, and Comprehensive Test Plans and Test Cases: Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
  • Hands-on Experience with Automated Testing Tools and Frameworks: Hands-on experience with automated testing tools and frameworks.
  • Proficient in Programming or Scripting Languages Relevant to Test Automation: Proficient in programming or scripting languages relevant to test automation (e.g., Java, Python).
  • Familiarity with Agile Frameworks and Regression Testing: Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing.

Preferred Qualifications
