Your Role

  • As a Senior Backend Developer, you will spearhead the development and maintenance of our messaging CPaaS platform using Java.
  • You will ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications, working closely with the team to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Implementing security and data protection measures will be a key aspect of your role, along with designing and implementing data storage solutions.
  • You will provide code documentation and other inputs to technical documents, and support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies.

Requirements

  • You must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven work experience as a Backend Developer with a strong focus on Java is essential.
  • Proficiency in Java programming language and understanding of JVM-based frameworks (e.g., Spring Boot, Hibernate) is required.
  • Experience with RESTful API development, solid understanding of object-oriented programming, and familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure) are necessary.
  • You should have knowledge of database technologies, both SQL (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra).
  • Understanding of security practices, including authentication, authorization, and encryption techniques is crucial.
