Key ResponsibilitiesManage the administrative lifecycle of employees, including onboarding, offboarding, parental leave, reference letters, badges, and lunch cards, as well as processing contractual changes.
Maintain personnel master data, including Workday and digital personnel dossiers.
Act as the HR point of contact for employees, managers, and HR Business Partners on various HR topics, including benefits, insurances, pension, immigration, hiring, terminations, and more.
Prepare letters for the Swiss immigration authorities for work permits and support the work permit renewal process.
Manage employee transfers and temporary assignments from other Glencore entities.
Collaborate and propose changes on the implementation and continuous improvement of HR processes and support the improvement of our HR information system (Workday), making a significant impact on our efficiency and effectiveness.
Process insurance queries regarding social security, pension fund, accident and sick leave insurance, and work closely with Glencore's insurance broker.
Train and mentor the apprentice, new team members, and continuously share and exchange knowledge and best practices across the team.
Review employee time off requests and balances, prepare reports, and organize the monthly onboarding for new employees.
Support various HR-related projects.
Commercial or academic background, HR certifications, or a bachelor's degree is desirable.
Experience in managing the employee lifecycle, HR administration, or other relevant roles.
Knowledge of Swiss labor law or interest and ability to learn it.
Confident in the use of Microsoft Office suite and experience with HR software/information systems.
Advanced English language ability, both written and spoken; other languages are beneficial.
Holding a Swiss work permit or passport holder of CH/EU/EFTA.
