Japanese Speaking Beverage Manager

Viking is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Beverage Manager to join our team. As a Beverage Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of beverage professionals to deliver exceptional customer service and drive sales growth.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Team Management: Lead a team of beverage professionals to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer service.
- Beverage Operations: Oversee the efficient operation of all bar lounges, bars, restaurants, and special events, ensuring that beverage service activities are conducted in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to guests, ensuring that their needs are met and exceeded.
- Sales and Revenue Growth: Drive sales growth by developing and implementing effective sales strategies and promoting Viking's Destination Beverage Package.
- Inventory Management: Maintain and control the ship's beverage stock holding, working closely with the Inventory Manager to ensure that orders are placed and received in a timely manner.
- Menu Planning and Presentation: Conduct daily menu presentations with the Executive Chef and Sommelier to ensure that beverage offerings are aligned with the company's culinary standards.
- Event Planning and Execution: Assist the Hotel General Manager in the organization and execution of bar/lounge-related ship functions and special events.
- Training and Development: Participate in all training concerning onboard training, safety and security, fire prevention, and evacuation exercises as required by the company.
- Experience: A minimum of 3 years' experience as a Beverage Manager or similar position in a premium brand hospitality and/or bar environment.
- Language Skills: Fluent in Japanese and English, with excellent communication skills to clearly communicate with the beverage team and guests.
- Leadership and Team Management: Proven experience in leading multi-cultural teams and a strong ability to motivate and develop team members.
- Administration and IT Skills: Strong administration skills and proficiency with PC-based databases, spreadsheets, and word processing systems.
- Guest-Focused Service: A guest-focused, service-oriented personality with excellent knowledge of all Public Health Policies and a strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
