Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Manager Nautical Recruiting to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring a stable pipeline of accepted candidates for all vacant positions on our River vessels.
Key Responsibilities
- Verify recruiting profiles and selection criteria with Nautical and Technical departments
- Conduct personal and MS Teams interviews for onboard crew and Senior Officers
- Organize and execute assessment centers, including location planning, communication with recruiting agencies, screening, selection, interviews, and statistics
- Participate in recruiting events on board and land-based throughout Europe
- Gather, input, and control candidate resource pool data
- Research competitor conditions, visa requirements, and industry trends in close cooperation with HR
- Run specific marketing campaigns with the Recruiting Marketing Expert team
- Follow defined recruiting processes and policies to ensure given budgets and optimize if necessary
- Report recruiting status quo and measures at all times in line with company standards
- Maintain business relationships with a trusted network of high-quality recruiting agencies, vocational schools, and universities
Key Qualifications
- Previous experience in the nautical, transportation, or tourism sector is desired, with experience in the inland shipping industry being an advantage
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills, including public speaking
- Fluent in English and Dutch is a must, with German/French being an asset
- Excellent software and analytical skills, including MS Office and SuccessFactors
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work independently but yet a team player, service-oriented, and guest- and candidate-focused
- Positive personality and great people judgement
- Professional appearance, flexible, and stress-resistant
Education
Graduate education is required
