About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Account Manager to join our team at BMC Software, Inc. As a Sales Account Manager, you will be responsible for owning a territory and positioning BMC's iconic and cutting-edge technologies into prestigious customers.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the main point of contact for customers throughout the full sales cycle, supported by top product specialists, solution engineers, and a dedicated ecosystem focused on customer centricity.
  • Be the business owner of your territory, increasing our footprint, building larger deals, and helping BMC maintain its market leader position.
  • Lead as a BMC brand ambassador, building trust and confidence with customers, partners, and colleagues through integrity and professionalism.
  • Participate in global projects, challenge yourself, and drive innovation in solving everyday problems.

Requirements

  • You will embody BMC's values and live them every day.
  • You will have a proven track record of working effectively as a team member and providing leadership and resources to manage the sales process.
  • You will have developed your business as a trusted partner with an in-depth understanding of pipeline, business practices, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Fluency in German is required.
