Exec Dir, International Marketing Oncology

We are currently recruiting an **Executive Director, International Marketing Lead (IML) Oncology, for **regions excluding US and reporting to AVP, International Marketing, Oncology. This role is a critical part of our Oncology International Marketing Team, which is expanding as we continue to grow our business successfully.
The International IML's main responsibility will be to prepare the commercialization of the corresponding indications across the region. This will include identification and engagement plans for key stakeholders, development of message platform and promotional campaign for the respective indications. At the same time, IML's must ensure full integration of these plans within the overall brand strategy. IML's will lead the development of the marketing tools that will be used to drive the strategic choices that enable leadership in what is expected to be a highly competitive market.
**Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to**:
- Preparation of the International indication commercialization plan including articulation of the underlying scientific story for assigned indications
- Providing markets with guidance on local implementation in alignment with the global marketing team
- Primary POC for the global marketing team to represent the voice of the International Region
- Engagement Plans for Key Scientific Leaders
- Message Development
- Promotional Campaign Development
- Support development and execution of internal & external Med Ed, training and coaching of key stakeholders
- Supporting markets along their commercial excellence efforts
**Key requirements**:
- Strong understanding of the Oncology market including current & future trends within the IO class and beyond
- Demonstrated ability to understand and manage key levers that drive growth and profitability
- An understanding of the general Oncology market space, key drivers, payer and reimbursement levers
- Proven experience as commercial director or another relevant role
- Proven experience in sales and/or marketing and managing relationships with key clients
- In-depth understanding of market research methods and analysis
- Solid knowledge of performance reporting and financial/budgeting processes
- Commercial awareness partnered with a strategic mindset
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
- Strong project management skills, leadership, problem solving, teamwork, analytical, and written/verbal communication
- Working knowledge and experience with collaboration, influencing within a matrix environment and working successfully with cross-functional teams both regionally and globally
- Requires reasonable travel effort which can become substantial at times
**Preferred experience & skills**:
- Experience of working in Oncology
- Country/Regional or Global experience
- General understanding of health care systems of core markets
- Ideally county marketing experience fully understanding affiliate expectations
- Strong Leadership & communication skills
