Regional Marketing Lead

The Regional Marketing Lead, Vaccines and Pharma, is responsible for leading the successful commercialization of all our portfolio of vaccines and medicines (except oncology) with a focus on top products for Mid-Europe. The role includes driving our marketing and commercial efforts through a transformed Agile and Digital go-to-market model, including regional commercial resources. The Regional Marketing Lead translates global strategies, supports execution and prepares the launch of new indications and products for the Mid-European markets and clusters. This requires a hands-on, execution focused mindset and approach. It requires working closely with global organization and countries, being able to simplify complexity, bring new ways of working and new initiatives to the markets in a coherent and digestible way.
The Regional Marketing role is part of our Human Health Mid-European Leadership Team. This position will require outstanding leadership in all areas of product management as well as demonstrated excellence in management, teamwork, and collaboration. This role will ideally be based in Switzerland - it may also be based in another European country with practical commute into the region.
**Main Responsibilities**:
- Strategy: _
- Set regional Objectives and Key Results and align with clusters and markets.
- Translate global strategy, represent Mid-Europe in global forums and input into global franchise strategies.
- Define approaches, desired outcomes, and metrics for data-driven regional customer experience.
- Prepare markets and clusters for launch of new indications and products.
- Execution and Cross-Functional Team: _
- Drive agile Cross-Functional Teams to identify and address large priorities, obstacles and support execution of opportunities.
- Drive adoption of commercial experimentation and scaling of solutions across the region.
- Drive our global Human Health International initiatives in the region.
- Identify data-driven customer experience strategies.
- Coordinate Regional Commercial Leads and ensure consistency across the Therapy Areas.
- Launch, Commercial Excellence Framework and Multi-Market Squads:_
- Drive new products and indications. Launch planning and provide tools for commercial excellence and execution readiness.
- Drive adoption of global content and solutions.
- Identify and drive sharing of best practice from across our Human Health division.
- Facilitate Vaccines and Global Pharmaceutical Leaders Forums.
- Deliver disease area and broader product training.
- Key Stakeholders:_
- Vaccines and Global Pharmaceutical Franchise Global teams.
- Mid-Europe Managing Directors and Cluster Leads.
- Mid-Europe Commercial Operations Director.
- Market Business Unit Directors.
- Other Global supporting functions.
**Your Profile**:
- Bachelor’s degree and advanced degree preferred with emphasis in Business, Marketing or Economics.
- Management experience roles in multiple functions.
- Knowledge in the Pharmaceutical industry and non-retail business, with emphasis in sales and marketing positions.
- Proven ability to actively network is key.
- Strong Influencing skills.
- Strong Project Management Capabilities, experience of successfully transforming and simplifying business processes.
- Ability to translate strategy into action plans and drive successful execution.
- Innovation and Digitalization experience.
- Strong collaboration skill and the ability to work cross functionally, together with the ability to navigate among many different stakeholders at various levels within corporation.
- Managed a Profit and Loss for a business or function.
- Fluency in English. Proficiency in one or more languages spoken in the Mid-European region will be considered as a plus.

**THE COMPANY**
Our company has had a presence in Switzerland since 1963. With a regional office and manufacturing/packaging facility, Lucerne is considered the center of operations. Approximately 1,000 people work collaboratively at the four Lucerne locations (Tribschenstrasse, Citybay, Schachen and Kriens). A fifth location has been recently established in Zurich, aimed at accelerating the development and commercialization of many of our company’s medicines and vaccines, which supports our mission to save and improve lives around the world.
