**Operational Purchaser**:

**Position Summary**:
At Jet Aviation, we don’t just operate - we are driving for excellence in everything we do. For our procurement team in Basel, we are looking for a passionate and results-driven Operational Purchaser ensuring our operations run seamlessly, contributing to the excellent service and quality we are known for worldwide.

**Your mission**:

- **Process Purchase Orders**: Efficiently manage and process purchase orders, ensuring all details are accurate and timely
- **Source with Precision**: Identify and procure the materials that meet our high standards.
- **Master SAP Data**: Maintain and update purchasing data in SAP, including delivery dates, discounts, prices, and order acknowledgments
- **Engage with Excellence**: Foster strong, daily interactions with internal stakeholder and our trusted suppliers and engage in price and lead time negotiations when necessary
- **Handle with Care**: Administer all aspects of purchase orders, including invoice control, addressing blocked shipments, and conducting market searches
- **Resolve and Refine**: Review purchase order claims, address defects, and negotiate refunds to maintain operational excellence

**Your profile**:

- A solid foundation with relevant vocational training or technical apprenticeship, coupled with several years of equivalent work experience
- Exceptional communication skills in both written and spoken English
- Proficiency in MS Office and SAP
- Proactive, solution-oriented mindset and a flexible, collaborative team player who can inspire and influence
- Customer-centric personality who enjoys working in a fast paced environment
- Results driven individual who executes with high personal accountability
- Readiness to work up 5 Saturdays and/or Sundays per year
