Operative Buyer

**Job Description**:
Join our Supply Chain Team as an **Operative Buyer** to support our multicultural and fast-pacing team. As the new Operational Buyer, you will be responsible for getting the right part to the right place at the right time.
- You are responsible for on-time delivery and operational supplier quality
- You will be responsible for processing purchase orders, following up with suppliers, monitoring deliveries, and handling order discrepancies and reclaims
- Negotiating with suppliers on prices and delivery terms
- Identify new sourcing channel, improve purchasing price, quality, and sustainability.
- Ensure correct and accurate master data include adding, monitoring, and adjusting system data, working on inventory reduction, and processing error reports
- Remain and develop reciprocated relationships with multinational vendors.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as engineering, R &D, project management and production

**Qualifications**:

- Several years of Purchasing experience in a technical environment
- Technical or commercial education with Swiss Federal Diploma of Higher Education
- Open for occasional travelling and supplier visits
- Strong communication and negotiating skills
- Strong sense of cultural sensitivity
- A good Team player with outstanding analytic and coordination skills
- You value open communication in building up professional relationships
- Attention to detail, precision, and accuracy
- ** English **and German **on a professional level is a MUST
